Cum On Feel The Noize, Mama Weer All Crazee Now, Radio Wall Of Sound... for all the hits, their best known song is Merry Christmas Everybody. It's 45 years since that was first released. To celebrate, Slade are back on tour this Christmas - they play London's ULU on 21 December.
Guitarist Dave Hill has been part of the band since the start. He spoke to Miskin Radio's Nick Prater ahead of the tour, sharing the story behind the song and some wise words for those following his footsteps...
